英語の文法問題
専門学校の過去問です。 Mr.Abe requested the students ( ) their paper in these days. (1) finish to write (2) finish writing (3) finished to write (4) to finish to write request 人 to doの形で(4)が正解かと思ったのですが、finishの後ろが動名詞にならなくておかしいな……とも思います。 何番が正解になるのでしょうか？ 教えてください。よろしくお願い致します。

すいません間違えました 正解は1です finishの後はご指摘通りingしかこれません。 そして Mr.Abe requested ❗ the students finish to write their paper in these days 赤の❗マークの所はthat節になっていって 安部は要求した that(それは) 生徒に数日以内に紙に記入しなさい。 になりまして thatは 接続詞的になりましてthat節は省いても問題ありません。

英文法に関する質問です。 It displayed an image that he had requested be sent to her. という英文があり、この「be sent」の部分の文法が分かりません。 request を S＋V＋O＋to の形と読むと to が抜けていることになります。 （また、この場合に物がOになるのは不自然だと思います。） もう１つの解釈としては、that の関係代名詞の後の he had requested が挿入で、 It displayed an image that (he had requested) be sent to her. ということを考えているのですが、この場合は be ではなく was になると思います。 どなたか回答お願いします。

TOEICの公式問題集に下記の問題がありました。 #1 Mr.Uemura declined to comment on rumors about how many medicines the drug manufacturer had in development. #2 OE Furniture Company is dedicated to providing contemporary furniture at old-fashioned prices. #1はdecline to do の原形不定詞を問う問題です。 他方 #2はdedicated to のtoは前置詞であり、前置詞の後には動名詞又は名詞が来るという問題でした。 この動詞のときは原形不定詞、またある動詞のときは前置詞の後の動名詞又は名詞が来るといったように、この２つのパターンを動詞ごとに分類がされているよい文法書をご存知ないでしょうか。 パターンで覚えないと、類似問題が出題された場合、間違える可能性があります。
