勉強したのは随分前なので自信ありませんが一言。 この文章では、that以下は本来、foundの目的節になるはずです。 構文を用いないで書くと、 We found that we forgot the time to talk about so much. （直訳）：私達は、とてもたくさん話したために時間を忘れていたことに気づいた。 こんな感じになると思います。

回答ありがとうございます。そういう考え方もあるのですね。 win000さんの考え方だと S:We, V:found, O:that we forgot the time, M(Modifier:修飾語):to talk about so much ってことでSVO（第３文型）というふうに考えれるということでしょうか？
