バリトン 男声のバスとテノールの中間の声域の事 「声」とあるので、高くもなく低くもない声だという事を表現した言葉だと思います。 ハイバリトン バリトンの中で高音域（バスバリトン、ハイバリトンとあります） 「声」とあるので、高くもなく低くもない声の中でもちょっとだけ高いかな？っていう事を表現した言葉だと思います。
