以下の英文について教えてください。 英会話入門の会話文です。 b:I was given an ultimatum by my doctor. a:What did he say? b:That I'm borderline diabetic.（糖尿病の一歩手前です。） a:Is it reversible? この中の、That I'm borderline diabetic. の文の構成が良く理解できません。 (1)このthat はなぜ必要なのか？ よろしくおねがいします。

下記の文ですが、意味はとれるので問題ないのですが、 文の構造についていくつかの疑問があります。ご教授いただけたらと思います。 （1）It was not until baby was fed that he stopped crying. 本来は、The baby did not stop crying until he was fed だと思います。これだと意味もわかり易いのですが、強調構文になった途端、理解に苦しみます。 ここでのthatは ～なのは、というような役目？ (2) Who was it that read my diary while I was out? it that read のところが解釈に苦しみます。 (3) I don't want there to be any trouble. there to be のところがよく判りません。

(1)Not only・・but・・文と解釈（but はない） (2)like (that) you have given・・thatを挿入した。 ２、( )文について (because of all we have been taught about how perfect certain fingerprint identification is) (1) of all: 「こともあろうに」 ＝ 「指紋は唯一無二ではないのに」という意味ではないか。 ”because of” と”of all”のof が気になる。 (2) “how perfect certain fingerprint identification is” ＝How＋形・副詞＋主語＋be動詞と解釈 (3) 「間違った情報によって、押捺に応じてしまった」と見ているのではないか。 ４、全訳文 あなたは犯人扱いにされていると感じているだけでなく、（こともあろうに、指紋認証がどの位完全で確実であるかということについて教えられたために）あなたは、あなたを支配する権力に権威を与えてしまったようにも感じている。
