乳児が良い友達と悪い友達の違いが判断ができるという研究。 木製の人形が小さな坂を行ったり来たりするのを見せた。もう一つの人形は、最初の人形の所に行ってそれを助けるか、押して邪魔をするだろうと・・・（考えるようだ・・・） この後の文章が無いので判断できないが、wouldは仮定の用法と思います。

Most information from any blog site needs to be treated with the same suspiction that would normally be reserved for neighborhood gossip. ブログサイトからの情報は、普通なら近所のゴシップに対するものと同じような疑いの目で取り扱わなければならない。 上記の文について２つ質問があります。どちらか一方でも答えていただけたら幸いです。 (1)need to doの受動態は be needed to doではだめなのか？ 上記の文でneeds to be treated はis needed to treat ではダメなのでしょうか？ (2)wouldの用法について 英文の訳では意訳されてしまっているのでwouldの意味がよくわかりません。このwouldはどのような使われ方をされているのでしょうか？

今、使っている英語の本の例文(下)なのですが、 このwouldにはどんな意味があるのでしょうか？ ・It would really be great to have an ice-cream cone.(アイスクリームコーンを食べたらとっても美味しいでしょうね。) ・So we would pitch in and buy a six-pack on Fridays.(それで金曜日になると仲間とお金を出し合って(ビールの)6本パックを買って。) どちらも会話文の中の一文ではないので、丁寧語のwouldではないと思うのですが... 推測の「たぶん～だろう」の意味でしょうか？(>>That would be the best solution. それが多分一番良い解決策だろう) wouldの使い方がイマイチわかりません。よろしくお願いします。

以下の文章に「would for ...」「 you would with...」と言う箇所があるのですが、wouldと前置詞for, withの間にはdoが省略されているのでしょうか？それともwouldは動詞として使われているのでしょうか？ 宜しくお願い致します。 That said, it's isn't as easy as comparing expense ratios.
