質問の意味がわかりません。
英語の問題をやっているのですが質問の意味が辞書を調べてもいまいち良くわかりません。 わかる方がいらしたら教えていただけませんでしょうか？ よろしくお願いいたします。 質問は下記のような感じです。 Look at the word technique in the passage. Choose the word in the bold text that is NOT an example of a technique.

It's not an airplane, that's for sure. 上記の英文の It's not an airplane, that's for sure.をThat's for sure that it's not an airplane.に置き換えられますか？ 日本語では、「飛行機じゃないのは確かだよ。」と1文なのに、英語ではIt's not an airplane, that's for sure.と、なぜ主節を2つして表現するのでしょうか？ 教えて下さい。よろしくお願いします。

1) you should look words up in the dictionary in case you make spelling mistakes. （綴りを間違うといけないから辞書を調べなさい）がなぜ誤文で、 2) In case there's an earthquake, prepare a first-aid kit. （地震があるといけないから救急箱を用意しなさい）がなぜ正しいのかがわかりません。正しくは 1) you should look words up in the dictionary in order not to make spelling mistakes.になるのですが 解説では…in case～「～するといけないから」と覚えるのではなく、「～した場合…が必要になるから…する」が正しい直訳であるとあります。よって1)は直訳が「綴りを間違う場合は、辞書が必要になるから辞書で調べろ」となり綴りを間違う場合に辞書が必要になるのではなく、綴りの間違いをする前に辞書で確認する意味になるからin order not to ～を使わないといけない、とあります。ならば2)も地震が起こる前に救急箱を用意する事になるのでin caseはダメになるはずですが、なぜいけるのかわかりません。さらに2)ではin order not toではダメですか？。 詳しい方お願いします。

The observation that “we look at each other, but we do not see each other any more” has perhaps itself achieved the status of “words which we utter but scarcely ever hear.” 「私たちを一部を見れているが、全体を見渡すことはできていない」という見解はおそらく、「口に出すがほとんど聴くことはない言葉」という地位に達したそれ自身を有している。？？？ ＜“we look at each other, but we do not see each other any more” の部分は、慣れてしまうこと（familiarity）によって全体が見れなくなってしまうようなことだと思うんですが、そのほかの部分がよくわかりません。ちなみにChomskyの文章です。 お願いします。
