ネーティヴのニュアンスは分かりませんが、通じないことはないと思います。ちなみに Ｉ is student. とすれば Ｉは 一人称単数代名詞ではなく Ｉという固有名詞に解釈されるでしょう。そういえば、私が外人に ネット上で間違って 「Does anybody knows...?」って尋ねたら きちんと理解してもらえましたが、、、。 ちなみにこれは正しい英語です。 You is used to express the second pesonal pronoun, either as single and plurial,either as subject and object. これは "are"にしたら 間違いになります。
