洋書
人や動物の筋肉（解剖図）等が知りたくてどういう本が良いのか探しているのですが、 洋書関連のが良さそうなのでそれらを買おうかと思っているんですけども、 いかせん洋書なんで説明などが英語というのが気になって困ってます・・。 内容のほとんどが図などでしたら良いのですが・・。 「Anatomy Drawing School 」 「An Atlas of Animal Anatomy for Artists」 「Albinus on Anatomy: With 80 Original Albinus Plates」 等と色々ありまして・・。 「An Atlas of Anatomy for Artists 」と言うのは持ってるんですが、 これぐらいの図と文字の割合なら問題ないのですけど・・。 内容が基本的に図がほとんど（7:3 8:2ぐらい）だと言えるような本をご存知でしたら教えて頂けませんか・・？ あ、別に洋書じゃなきゃダメだと言うようなことはありません・・。 ただ洋書の方が内容が濃いと思ってるんで・・。

人体の構造に興味があります。解剖に関われれば最高ですが、それは難しいのでバーチャルに（本やビデオで）知りたいと思います。「人体の不思議展」には行ってきました。レンタルで「人体解剖マニュアル(Anatomy For Beginners)」全４巻を借りてきて見ました。他にも入手可能なおすすめの資料を教えて欲しいのです。サイトでも構いません。お願いします。

小公女セーラの洋書を読んでいます。 It would have been an old look for a child of twelve, and Sara Crew was only seven. この意味は、 「12歳の子供に見えたかもしれないけど、セーラはたったの7歳でした。」 でしょうか？ an old look for a child of twelve の辺りが どう区切って訳したらいいのかわからず・・・ look forは、～を探す。ですよね？ でもそうなると12歳の子供を探す。になってしまい、なんか変な感じで・・。 どなたか教えていただけたら幸いです。

こんにちは。補間について洋書を見て、どんな意味なのかわからないので、わかる方アドバイスお願いします。 内容は、 「There exists a unique polynomial p(x) of degree 2 or less such that p(0) =0,p(1)=1,and p'(α)=2 for any value of α between 0 and 1 (inclusive), except one value of α, say α0. Determine α0 and give this polynomial for α=α0でない. 」 です。お願いします（泣）

- お勧めの洋書、教えて下さい！
高一の英語力で読める洋書を教えて下さい。 『ナイトメア・ビフォア・クリスマス』のようなダークな感じのファンタジーが好きなので（もちろん普通のファンタジーも好きです。）、その系統のものが良いです。 出来れば、日本語訳して出版されていないものが良いんですが…。 それと後二つほど質問が…。 ティム・バートン著の『The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy: & Other Stories』という本、白い表紙のものと黒い表紙のものがありますが、どちらも同じ内容なんですか？ 後、この本は『オイスター・ボーイの憂鬱な死』というタイトルで日本語訳されて出版されているらしいんですが、こちらの内容は原書と同じものですか？挿絵が変わっているとか物語が削られているとかといったことは無いんですか？ 分かる方、回答お願いします。

Spareという人物の絵に関する説明文なのですが、自分で訳してみたものの、この絵の説明文がspareによる直筆によるものなのか、spare以外の人物の直筆なのかわかりません。この説明文以外に、この絵についてはoriginalではなくreproductionと明記がありました。 自分の訳としては、spareが何か別の他人が書いた絵を元に、同じような絵をspareが描いたものではないかと思います。そのため、spareの直筆ではあるがreproductinになっているのではないかと思います。 以下は、その説明文です。わかる方がいらっしゃれば、この説明文はspareによる直筆という意味かどうかお教えください。お手数ですが宜しくおねがいます。 Original Carbon Copy Drawing of an Austin Osman Spare Pencil Illustration. This is a great and unusual piece of Austin Osman Spare history, a one off original artifact created in the artists lifetime, by the artist. It is the only 'copy' that exists as far as I'm aware of this wonderful and magickal picture. Please note: The whereabouts of the original pencil illustration is a mystery. This item I'm putting up for auction is an original carbon copy drawing of a what is really a magnificent and very classic picture by Spare titled WALPURGIS NIGHT, produced I believe sometime between late 1940s and the early 1950s. It originates from one of his sketch books and was drawn in the same style as his series of excellent Witches Sabbath artworks. The copy was created by Austin Osman Spare at the time of the drawings conception, and subsequently belonged to Frank Letchford, a close friend, supporter, student and collector of Spare. This carbon copy has been kept safely for many years and remains in great condition. The picture came from Frank Letchford's personal collection released shortly after his death. As you can see in one of the provided JPEGS, there is some old tape still attached to the top of the page. This I believe dates back to Spare's ownership and was how he would've lined up his original drawing paper with the carbon copy paper. There is no signature on this picture but the title is clearly visible on the top right hand corner. SIZE: 6 1/2 " wide by 9" high. Austin Osman Spare 1886 - 1956, English visionary - artist of the esoteric, surreal and other-worldly. This is a great opportunity to own an original artifact. I've tried my hardest to reproduce this picture as close to the original as possible. Please note, this picture comes unframed and unmounted. I post art on the Internet, and a month ago, someone requested that I make a drawing for them based off a picture of a character they found on Google. I drew the picture, posted it, and went to sleep. When I woke up, I got an angry message from a person saying that they were the original artist of that character.
