読んでみたところ、マルコさんを不快にさせたのでもなく、彼が嫌なヤツって訳でもありませんね。 「またか、同じジョーク！」って意味で”Ah, I hate that joke!”とフランクに言ったものと思われます。”Ah,"で始まっているので、何となくニュアンス的に「あぁ、あのジョークかよ」と、わたしなら訳します。同じ名前の会社があってもおかしくないと彼は思っているので、そのジョークは彼には笑ってもらえなかったのですね。それがあなたにとってショックでした？ 英語に間違えがあります。 Do you have a picture of you?と書こうとしたのでしょう。「写真ある？」って聞いています。つまり、あなたの写真が見たいのです。 I don't have any on my PC.と言って今回はパスし、彼とのメールをしばらくやり取りして決めたら良いと思いますよ。 今回のやりとりではあなたたちは上手くかみ合わなかったので、とりあえず当たり障りの無いメールでもして様子を見たほうが良いですかね。

回答してくださってありがとうございました。 そうなんですね、不快にさせてなくってよかったです^^ 確かに私も学校とかでおなじみのギャグとかにはまたそれかよー！ なんてよく言います。よく聞かれるあきたジョークに普通に 笑ったりしません^^;きっとそういうことなんでしょうね！ 確かにちょっとショックでしたがseainsideさんのおかげで少し楽になりました♪ そうですね、今回はそうやって顔写真はパスしておきます。 確かにちょっとストレートな人だけどここ以外の文では 優しい感じの人なので様子を見て異文化交流を楽しんでいきます。 とても参考になりました。ありがとうございました。
