おかげさまでもう少しのところまで来ました。 あと1回だけお付き合い下さい。 1.「引きあげ湯葉」というのがあります。 これはお客様のテーブルで温めた豆乳から自分で湯葉をすくって(引きあげて)食べるというものです。 これは前回お聞きした「できたて豆富」にならって、 Soft Yuba (Bean Curd Skin) Freshly Made Right at Your Table としました。 で、この「引きあげ湯葉」がついたランチコースは単純に Lunch Course with Soft Yuba (Bean Curd Skin) Freshly Made Right at Your Table で良いでしょうか? 2.前回質問の「ゆばひろうす(湯葉の入ったがんもどき)」は deep-fried tofu and yuba(bean curd skin) cake としました。 これを踏まえ、「ゆばひろうすの炊き合わせ」(ゆばひろうすと何種類かの野菜の煮物)を以下のように訳してみましたがいかがでしょうか? deep-fried tofu and yuba(bean curd skin) cake stew with vegetables 3.「とうふすき」というのがあります。豆富、生麩、野菜、鶏肉の入った「紙鍋」です。 Tofu, Fu (wheat gluten bread), Chicken and Vegetables Cooked in a Special Paper Hot Pot と一応してみましたが、 Tofu Hot Pot with Fu (wheat gluten bread), Chicken and Vegetables Cooked in a Special Paper Pot のほうがいいかなとも思います。 他にもっと良い言い方があればアドバイス頂けますでしょうか? 以上よろしくお願いします。

Lunch Course with Soft Yuba (Bean Curd Skin) Freshly Made Right at Your Table made right at your tableでは、サービスの人が来て、目の前で作ってくれるような印象を受けてしまうのではないでしょうか? ハングリータイガーのようなステーキ屋で、店員さんが来て、目の前でソースをかけて肉を切ってくれるようなものを想像してしまいました。 自分で作るのなら、 Lunch Course with self-made Soft Yuba (Bean Curd Skin) (Yuba is taken from the surface of boiled soy milk. Boiled soy milk is served, so take Yuba by youself!) とでも書けばいいのではないでしょうか?

    豆腐料理店のメニューの英訳を頼まれ、現在辞書とインターネットを頼りに格闘していますが、ちょっとわからない問題に突き当たりました。 「生麩と海老の道明寺蒸し」という料理があります。 道明寺蒸しというのは簡単に言うと、お餅を具と一緒に蒸しあげたものです。 しかし写真を見てみると、切り餅のような餅ではなくもち米をそのまま柔らかく蒸しあげたような(米の粒々感が残っている)感じです。 (厳密には「道明寺粉」というのを使っていて、又ちょっと違うのですが。) さらに蒸した上に「あん」(とろみのついたソース)をかけてあるとのことです。 それで、餅についてはよく使われる"Rice Cake"ではなく"Sticky Rice"にして 「steamed Fu(wheat gluten), shrimp and sticky rice with starchy sauce」 としてみました。 同じ「ネバネバ」の意味のstickyとstarchyを続けて使うのはどうかと思ったのですが、いかがでしょう? どちらかに揃えたほうが良いのか、それともそもそも繰り返すのは良くないのでしょうか? アドバイスお願いします。
