likeの訳し方を教えてください。
Many Americans who were alive in 1969 like to remember and talk about the first astronaut landing on the moon. この文でlikeは動詞でしょうか、副詞でしょうか？適切な訳も教えていただければうれしいです。よろしくお願いいたします。

よろしくお願いします。 共通テストにあったセンテンスです。 「You are going to give a talk on a person you would like to have interviewed if they were still alive.」 仮定法も意味も理解できますが、 「would like to have p.p.」がまったく不慣れで焦ってます。 質問1：この使い方は適していますか？ 「もし目がもっと良ければ、パイロットになりたかったのに・・・」 If I had better eyesight, I would like to have become a pilot. 質問2：こう書いたら変ですか？ If I had better eyesight, I would have wanted to be a pilot. 違いもわかりません。 教えてください。 よろしくお願いします。

恥ずかしながら、中学英語すらこれほんとに中学の時やった？と思うくらいのレベルなのですが、英語ベーシック教本を読み始めました。 ナルホドと思いながら読んでますが、「誘導副詞のthere」（p.36）というのがうまく理解できません。 例文では、There were many apples there.という文が使われていて、以下の説明がありました。 --- 文頭のThereは「誘導の副詞」と呼ばれる特別な副詞で、主語(apples）の前に動詞（were)を誘導する働きをしています。したがって、誘導副詞のthereを使うと後ろがV+Sという語順（S+Vが普通の語順なので、V+Sは倒置形と呼ばれます）になります。 --- これは「普通はS+Vという文章だが、文頭にThereをつければV+Sという形にしても同じ意味にできるよ」という意味でしょうか？ どういうときに使うのか良く分からず・・・。 よろしくお願いします。
