>In this sentence, 'in total' 合計、すべてで、has a nuance of 'in the end' 要するに. Does 延べ have any nuance? Does it imply 'a long 21 days'? I ask this however if there is no nuance, that's perfectly okay. >"such interrogations" here means 上記の取調べ but adds a sarcastic feeling to it. 'the all-important interrogations'. Or at least that's the feeling, so I don't know if の類 is correct or not. I always thought that was 'type of'...

添削をお願いいたします(外国人です) Instead the Defendant Prosecutor extended Plaintiff's detention for 10 days for the purpose of doing “interrogations”, knowing full well that interrogations couldn't be done.

下記の和訳はあってますか?(外国人です) For example, because Defendants extended Plaintiff's detention to do interrogations after Plaintiff invoked the right to remain silent, indicating that he would not voluntarily make a statement, interrogations went from lawful to unlawful.

  • 和訳 like clockwork

Then like clock-work, post-indictment hitojichi shihou. Plaintiff was told, “If you agree to the facts of the case (if you falsely confess to the allegations) you will be released, however if you plead innocent (and don't falsely confess), you will have to stay in detention (solitary confinement) until the trial ends.” Trial was estimated to take 6 months.

添削をお願いいたします(外国人です) Defendants violated Plaintiff's right to present a defense, because denying counsel to attend interrogations and the detention hearings, directly denied Plaintiff from presenting a defense.

Revenues(called "turnover" in British Commonwealth countries)represent the total value that a company receives in exchange for providing services or selling goods to customers. This "total value" can take two forms: cash,or the customer's promise to pay cash in the future. For this reason, a company's total revenue for a period is not necessarily equal to the total amount of cash received by the company during the period. On an income statement covering a year ending on December 31, for example, total revenue may include some sales made on credit in November or December but not collected in cash until January. If revenue is earned from the sale of goods to customers,it is called sales. If it is earned from providing services to customers, it is called fees earned. Some companies have both types of revenue. Chevron, for example, records sales from the sale of gasoline and tires, and fees earned from automobile maintenance and repairs. Other companies have only one type of revenue:sales in a grocery store, for example,or fees earned in a video rental store. Expenses are the costs incurred by a company in the process of generating its revenues. And like revenues, expenses are recorded whether they are paid in cash immediately,or taken on credit to be paid in the future. Acompany that pays its workers their salaries on the fifth of each month for work done during the past month would pay its workers on January 5 for work done in December, but it would record this"salary expense" in December.

  • 和訳 knew he couldn't do

On October 17th Plaintiff was taken to the Prosecutor's office again for an interrogation, that the Prosecutor knew he couldn't do. Plaintiff scolded the Prosecutor, “What a waste of taxes to bring me here!". 10月17日、検察官ができないことを知っていたという取調べのために、検察庁に再びに原告を連れて行った。

by putting Plaintiff in a hardship → 「苦しい状況」を使うとどんなふうにつながればいいですか? Because Defendants used human suffering, by putting Plaintiff in a hardship for an illegal purpose of compelling Plaintiff to violate his right against self-incrimination.

The buildings of Nesle, Ham, Noyon and several villages were excepted from the plan and 10,000–15,000 French civilians were to be left behind in them, while 150,000 able-bodied civilians were to be evacuated to work in the rest of occupied France and Belgium. A 35-day timetable for the demolition plan was prepared to be followed by two marching days for the troops on the flanks of the area, three for the troops between Nauroy and Coucy le Chateau and four marching days for those between St. Quentin and La Fère. Defensive positions held by the German army on the Somme after November 1916 were in poor condition, the garrisons were exhausted and postal censors reported tiredness and low morale, which left the German command doubtful that the army could withstand a resumption of the battle. The German defences on the Ancre began to collapse under British attacks in January 1917, which caused Rupprecht to urge on 28 January, that the retirement to the Siegfriedstellung (Hindenburg Line) begin.
