Would you like to come...だと来たいですか？と聞いているような感じがわたしにはします。もう会合が開かれることはarrange済みで、お客さんがこちらの都合を聞いてきている前提があるなら、 Would you please visit us at the head office in Tokyo on July 7th at 11:00 a.m. ? と言うのはいかがでしょうか。come to our headの代わりにvisit usとしてみました。この方がわたしの感覚ではちょっと丁寧なつもり(^^; それで、英訳です。 Please sign in at general reception at the first floor, and ask for XX of SANKAKU. I will take you to the 10th floor 応接フロアというのが抜けますけれど、この方が簡潔で私は好きです。

英作文の問題で 『わが家から駅までは歩いて約10分です。』 という問いに対して Our place is about a ten-minute walk from the station. であるのか Our place is about a ten-minute walk to the station. であるのかどちらかわからないでいます。 前者の方が正しいと思うのですが、どちらが正しいのでしょう？ また正しくない方の訳はどうなってしまうのでしょうか？
