「彼の英語の話し方」「彼が英語を話すやり方（方法）」は the way he speaks English how he speaks English が最も普通の言い方。 the way that he speaks English も可。 the way in which he speaks English はかたい英語。評論文向き。 the way how he speaks English は理屈としては正しいが，現代英語では誤りとされる。 文法的にはこの that は関係副詞です。 完全・不完全というのは，昔からよくやる手法ですが， 一応，関係副詞では完全な文がくると言われています。 関係詞には関係代名詞・関係副詞があります（さらに関係形容詞）。 関係代名詞というのは関係詞節中で，名詞の役割を果たす， すなわち，主語や目的語の役割を果たしますので， その分，主語や目的語のない部分が後に続きます。 関係副詞というのは in the way という副詞的な部分が置き換わっています。 （when なら at the time, where なら at the place） 置き換わっているということは欠けているということであり， 厳密には「不完全」です。 ただ，５文型的には主要素が欠けていない，これを勝手に「完全」な文と言っている。 完全に文法を理解できれば，完全・不完全なんてやり方はナンセンス。 ということで， the ways that this has been accomplished というのは「これが達成されてきた方法」 that は関係副詞で，なくても同じ。 「達成された」のは this であり，the way ではありません。

和訳の仕方がまったくわかりません。。。 部分部分の言っていることはわかるのですが、英文の間にthatが入ってきたり、（）で囲まれた英文があると、和訳するときにどこから訳していいのかわからなくなってしまいます。文中に「,」がところどころにあると、混乱してしまいます。 英文を和訳にする時のコツはあるのでしょうか？ どうか、教えてください。 宜しくお願いします。 What would be the best wold to use when describing that e.g. an icon is alternating between being displayed and hidden ; the flashing / blinking / flickering icon? 回答いただきありがとうございます。the wayから in whichまで順に説明をしていただきとてもわかりやすかったです。 関係副詞のthatというのはおそらくは高校の文法では教えないと思いますので初めて耳にしました。達成されたのは this だとよくわかりました。this は直前にある内容を指しますから、the result 以下の、tecnoglocial improvements and hard-earned office level expense reductionsのことをさすと思います。しかし、疑問に思ったのですが、this がなぜ単数形で、前にandが使われてA and Bなのに、代名詞がthey ではなく、thisなのかと思いました。
