「現在形」か「過去形」かについての議論はもう良いでしょう。 「Birdland」について補足しておきます。下記のリンク先で分かるように、中学の教材として「Ｂｏｏｋ１」から「Ｂｏｏｋ３」まであります。 教材配当表を見ると、「Ｂｏｏｋ３」までに通常の公立中学校では決して学ぶことのない「過去完了形」、「分詞構文」、「関係副詞、「仮定法」などが含まれています。 通常はこのような項目は通常は高校でしか学ばないのですが、この教科書を用いるような中高一貫校では異なります。 http://www.bun-eido.co.jp/t_english/bje/bje.html リンク先の紹介の文章をそのまま引用すると「週当り５単位の授業時間を基本としていますが、最短２年間の学習でUnit １～３を終えることができます。」とあります。 つまり、早ければ中学２年までに（遅くとも中学３年までに）上記の高校の内容（過去完了形～仮定法）を学ぶことになっているわけです。 であれば、「Ｂｏｏｋ１」の第８課にある「近い未来」の中で「will」と「be going to」の違いについては触れられている可能性は十分あるでしょう。というか丁寧な説明がなされていない方がおかしいでしょう。 中高一貫校の教科書を侮ることはできません。教える側も最新の知識（といっても「be going to」と「will」の違いは昔からあるのですが、）を知らなければ（中高一貫校では）中学生の指導もできないということです。 ただし、今回の問題の作成者が２番目英文の解答として「looks」を前提としているのならば、「I'm going to help ...」の英文は感心できないといわざるを得ません。あれこれと考えすぎて誤解をするような生徒が出てくることを避けるために「I will help ...」とするべきですね。 教科書本体は非常にしっかりしたものでも、附属の問題集については問題の作りこみが少々甘い場合もあります。 今回の件については、これで了としたいと思います。ご参考になれば・・・。

英訳お願いいたします。 I really look forward to our holiday and seeing you. Last week was not the best week for me ... so I can really use a holiday and I can't think of anyone else who I would like to spend my holiday with. I'm really looking forward to see you again.
