US財務省のControllerの日本語訳

合衆国財務省のControllerという役職の日本語訳を探しています。 a person who supervises the financial affairs of a governmental bodyというのがその定義です。 リサーチして、会計監査官、主計官という名称を見付けたのですが、それが実際に適切なものなのか判断できかねています。

参考になるかどうかわかりませんが、日本の会社で経理のことを外資系の会社ではControlという言い方をしてました。だから、経理責任者って訳でいいんじゃないでしょうか？ 根本的に日本の政府とアメリカの政府の構造が違います。アメリカの財務省はお金の管理、調整をやってるところで、お金の最終決定権はそれぞれの省にあるはずです。財務省はそれを調整してるだけだと思いますが。日本の財務省は財布を握ってますが、アメリカの財務省は各省のお金の出し入れをチェックしてるだけだと思いますよ。 間違っていたらごめんなさい。
