和訳の添削、解説をお願いします。

the group’s first in over 20 years according to him. この男がいうには、(インタビューに応じるのは)この組織にとって20数年ぶりとのことです。 "では、我々が原始社会と呼ぶような一部の地域で現在も暮らしている人々はどうでしょう・・・" 日本語だけ読んで意味が分かるので問題ないと思います。ただ、最初の文の後半部分はもう一工夫できるのではないでしょうか。 「その島に住む人々はやすを持って近くの海へ行き、魚を見つけて殺すことで、生計を立てている」 "surviving to live" 字義通りに訳せば、「生きるために生き延びること」となるでしょう。もう少し日本語らしくするなら、「何とか暮らしていくこと」とでも訳せるでしょうか。 "I think it becomes a lot easier to exploit when you turn something into a commodity… when you objectify something it’s easy to exploit." 「商品化したものはどう利用しても全然気にならなくなるのだと思うのです・・・つまり、生き物を物としてみれば、自分の都合に合わせて気軽に使えるということです」 "You do see, from your perspective that・・・" 「(その見方からすれば)・・・だと認識しているというのですね」 "When pressed, the man mentioned another incident, this one all the way across the country in Salinas, California."
