"appreciate" は人を目的語にとることができるのでしょうか？ 私の記憶では"appreciate" は人を目的語にとることができないと習ったのですが。 （人でなくもので受ける、例えばitなど） 下のような英語は合っているのでしょうか？ I appreciate you telling me that.

よろしくお願いします。 中学一年生の形容詞と副詞の範囲です。 That is a tall tree. を That tree is tall. というように意味を同じで、書き換える問題です。 一方、 You teach English well. は、 You are a good English teacher. となるのですが、 このwell がgood になることへの説明がうまくしてあげられません。 You are a well English teacher. では、なぜなのかというのです。 おそらく、意味ではなく、品詞の問題ではないかと思い、 well goodの品詞を調べたのですが、 wellにも形容詞としての用法がありました。 が、よくわかりません。。 どなたかわかるかた、どうしてwell ENglish teacher ではだめなのか教えてください。 よろしくおねがいしますｌ。
