英語の得意な方へ・・・
私は自分のサイトでオリジナルの特撮作品を創っている 者ですが、その作品に登場する防衛チーム”エミュー”に 英語であて字をしてくださる方を探しています。 これまでの円谷作品の例をあげると、 ◆マット（MAT）MONSTER ATTACK TEAM ◆タック（TAC）TERRIBLE MONSTER ATTACKING CREW ◆マック（MAC）MONSTER ATTACKING CREW ◆ザット（ZAT）ZARIBAOF ALL TERRITORY ◆ユージーエム（UGM）UTILITY GOVERNMENT MEMBERS ◆ガッツ（GUTS）GLOBAL UNLIMITED TASK SQUAD ◆シグ（XIG）eXpanded Interceptive Guardians という感じなので、”エミュー”の場合も ～MUTATIONとか～MEMBERS～といった感じでお願いします。 変な質問でごめんなさい。 http://www4.ocn.ne.jp/~s.y/newpage2.htm

No.1の方の回答「EMU」を活かすとしたら、 EMU Extermination Members against Unknown horrors なんてのはどうでしょう。「EMUH」の方がいいけど「H」が余分かな。 表記的には「EMEW」と綴るとカッコイイんじゃないでしょうか。 EMEW Emergency Multi-Experienced Warriors 緊急時に備え多彩な経験をつんだ戦士達、といった感じ。

「ＥＭＵ」Enhanced Martial Unit（強化軍事部隊） 「特撮」みたいな雰囲気はないですけど。

「EMU」に関するご意見を下さってありがとうございます。 たしかに（強化軍事部隊）だけだと、ただの強化された軍隊のようですが、 リアルなSF的設定を付け足せば、それなりに説得力の あるものになるので、ネーム候補として紹介させていただきます。

「emu」にすると、オーストラリアに生息するダチョウに似た飛べない鳥を指しますが、こんな名前の会社やバンドもありますね。 「emyu」という表記もあるようですが、ダブらない方がいいというのなら、「emmyu」とかは？

エミューに関するご意見を下さってありがとうございます。 ダチョウ科に同名の鳥がいることは知っていたんですが、 バンドや会社まであるとは知りませんでした。でも、 ある程度ダブってしまうのはしかたがないと思っています。 emuというロゴに対しては、その後、 ◆Extermination Members against Unknown horrors ◆Enhanced Martial Unit などの意味を付けていただいたので、ありがたく 使わせていただきます。

英語が得意な方へ！ 和訳お願いします。 Needless to say I have been very very busy. Not so much with my work (well not more than or times).. but with house hold chores. Cooking, cleaning, dishes, laundry ... living all by yourself is a lot of work ... I sympathize with all the women out there :) But help is on the way ... I'm planning to hire a cleaning lady so she can help me clean my house a couple of hours a week. And for the cooking ... I actually like to cook and I think I'm getting quite good at it. But my sister is a bit worried about me. She calls and asks me how I'm doing. And then I tell her what I prepared for diner ... and it turns out that everything I make is either a Japanese or Chinese dish ... or at least I try to. So my sister complains that I'm not from Belgium any more and that I don't cook real food ... hahaha. Then I need to remind her that in Japan and China there are many people eating this food and that they are very genki ... :)Oh well ... eating waffles every day is also not good. Oh speaking of waffles I was passing by one of these vans that sell waffles. And I thought I had to take a picture for (私の名前) :)Something else ... now that my ex wife has left I'm also rearranging some things in my finances. In short I need to set up a new company and I thought I of creating giving it a Japanese sounding name. People over here get totally confused when they hear it ... but I like that :). Do you know of a nice name? My doryo suggested "matsu" ... I kind of like it. What do you think? Do you have a nicer name? That new company will own my house and all my money and I will keep it for maybe the rest of my life. So if you find a name ... I'll probably think of you for the rest of my life ... hahaha No don't take it that seriously ... but I think you're good in finding names. Please let me know your opinion. 英語が得意な方、お願いします。 歌詞を作っているのですが、どうしても英語に出来ない部分がありまして… 『風に揺られて』を英語にすると、どう翻訳したら良いのでしょうか？ 翻訳サイト等で調べているのですが、どこも違った回答になってしまってわけが分からなくなってきてしまいまして…。 『揺れる』と「揺られる』の辺りでうまく訳せません。 英語が得意な方、お答えお願いできないでしょうか？

とてもカッコイイ設定を付けてくださってありがとうございます。 EMEWの単語のわかりやすさや、「緊急時に備え多彩な経験をつんだ戦士達」 という設定が、カッコよくて気に入っていますが、 伝統ともいえる「MAT」や「TAC」「ZAT」と同じ英語３文字 である「EMU」のほうも捨てがたいと思っています。 もしよろしければ Extermination Members against Unknown horrors の意味も教えてください。
