広告会社の classified ads に関する記事です。 All ads are prepaid. Ads scheduled to run for more than one week may be canceled after the first week for future advertising credit only. 「広告は前払いで、1週間を超えて載せる予定の広告の場合は最初の1週間後ならキャンセルしてもよい」と理解したのですが、for future advertising credit only というのがどういう意味なのかよくわかりません。。。 お手数掛けますが、ご教示をお願いいたします。

for future advertising credit only というのがどういう意味なのかよくわかりません。。。 「広告は前払いで、1週間を超えて載せる予定の広告の場合は最初の1週間後なら将来の前金として残しておくならキャンセルしてもよい」 ということで、キャンセルしても現金の払い戻しはしない、その代わり未使用の日数だけ将来使える、という意味です。
