短い英文の説明をお願いします
こんばんは。 これがその英文です。 The price customers pay for goods often has little to do with what they cost to produce. 文意はなんとなく、「顧客が商品に払う値段は、その商品の原価と関係ない」ということ だと思うのですが・・・ このtheyはgoodsを示していますよね？goodsはproduceされるものだから、 what they cost to be produced になると思うのですが、違いますか？ 教えてください。

It cost him $3000 to build the house. 第４文型であるが、最初の目的語 him は省略可能 動詞 take 「（時間が）かかる」にも同様の構文あり。 また、$3000 を尋ねる疑問詞は what または how much ・主語を変更した変形 ※回答者の個人的な推察で、他ソースの裏づけはなし It is hard to please him. 「彼を喜ばせるのは難しい」 (please の目的語 him をItの代わりに主語にすえる） → He is hard to please. との類推から It cost (him) $3000 to build the house. → The house cost (him) $3000 to build. It cost $100 to produce this item. → This item cost $100 to produce. ・NAVER 英語辞書で http://endic.naver.jp/ cost to produce で検索して出てきた数々の文から２つを、上に沿って構文的に理解。 (1) I have absolutely no idea what it costs to produce this suit. what they cost to produce は ある言葉を省略しているのです。 what they cost (for us) to produce ということで、produce の主語は we なので、 to produce でいいのです。 わかりますか？

It’s not enough just to get everyone to agree that paving the road, or draining the meadow, or fighting a revolutionary war are things they want; we also have to get enough people to actually contribute the money or effort it takes to accomplish our goal. 少し長いのですが、「Collective problem（集産主義問題）はcoordinate problem(調整問題)の一部です。」（subsetがここではどういう訳になるのかわかりません） 「そしてそれらは存在している。なぜならみんな無料で手に入れたい、もしくはもっと正確にするか。彼らが欲しいものを他の人が支払うことを好む」（訳して見たものの、意味がわからず…訳し方がわかりません） 「道路を舗装したり、草原を排水したり、革命的な戦争をすることは、彼らが望むものであるが、同意するだけでは不十分だ。私たちは目標を達成するために金額や努力が必要であり、実際に貢献するために十分な人々を雇う必要もあります。」 こちらはなんとなくわかるのですが、内容がいまいちつかめません。 わかる方、わかりやすく訳して欲しいです。 よろしくお願いします。
