("let" を用いて、なすがままにした事を表現) ピンが落ちたまま(家を)出てきた。 I left a pin droped on the floor. ( ピンは既に落ちてころがってるので"dropped") > 水をだしっぱなしにしてきちゃった。 6. I left the water running. (水は今でも流れてますから "running") > ドアをあけっぱなしにした。 7. 「私は水を出しっぱなしにしておいた。」という英訳はI left the water running.とあるのですが、theをつけずにwaterだけではだめなのでしょうか？意味が変わりますか? あと『水が流れている』という表現はrunningだけなのでしょうか？flowingは駄目でしょうか?

Someone must have left the water running． 水(目的語)が 出しっぱなしにされている(受動関係がある) ので、ｒｕｎ(過去分詞)だと思ったのですが… 分かる方よろしくお願いします！

ピンの落ちるのが聞こえるほど静かだった。(1語不要)で (could,a pin,you,to,have,drop,heard)なんですが、you could have heard a pin drop.になっていて、hearと目的語と原形ってのは分かるんですが、could have heard がわかりません。could hearの過去形でいいのではと思います。この文に(テストの間)とかある時間からある時間までのようなことも書かれていないので、could have heardに何故なるのですか？ また、未来完了形と未来完了進行形＆過去完了形と過去完了進行形の違いもいまいちです。わかりやすくお願いします。どの完了形もある一点(時点)からある一点(時点)までを表すものですよね？

文法で 不定詞の分野で (1)S+V+O+原形不定詞 分詞の分野で (2)S+V+O+分詞 というのがありますよね？ 原形不定詞の例文で (1)I heard the door open 分詞の例文で (2)I heard my name called とありますが例えば (1)の例文を I heard the door opened にしたら間違いなのですか？また(2)の例文を(1)の形にしたときもそうなんですが・・・

和訳をお願いします 長くなってすみません(>_<) I was drinking coffee in the cafeteria when I realized something was wrong. No sonner had I smelled smoke than I heard a fire alarm go off. I hurried toward the entrance. As I got to the gift shop. I saw a lot of people running out of the lobby. Just before I turned to the left there to go the entrance, I heard a woman crying for help. The voice seemed to be coming from the lab. The corridor was already full of smoke, so I crouched down and groped through the blackness. I went into the lab, but no one was there. Then I heard the woman cry out again, so I left the lab and went tower the Women's Center. There Mrs.Robinson was, sitting in front of the door to the center. I took her by the hand and we headed for the entrance. On the way there, I looked back at the Medical Records Dept. and saw flames shooting out of the door. Later I found out that the fire had started there.
