出張を伴う仕事（任務）の準備に携わるものは、旅行に関係するロジスティックの詳細に至るまで取り扱い、（結果的に、会議等の）出席者達は思う存分彼らの業務に集中できる。 Logistics その言葉の意味するところは非常に広く、は日本語に訳す場合はケース・バイ・ケースで考えた方がいいと思います。 資材の購買も、出張の航空券の確保、会議室等の予約、現地での移動手段の確保、全てロジスティックの範疇です。 今回の訳の場合は、航空券等に拘るものに限定されますが、これとて、航空券の予約・購入、出発地と到着地の移動手段、宿泊及び食事のアレンジ、会議室や事務室が必要な場合その予約、等が含まれると考えられます。 こういった業務が、「lotistical details」の内容で、こういった事を全部準備してくれるから、（会議等の）参加者は彼等の仕事に専念する事が出来る、と言う事になります。 あと、Mission も日本語にそのままではなりにくい言葉ではないでしょうか。 私の所属する組織では、職員の海外出張を伴う（定期的に行われない）単発の業務をMission と呼んでいます。 その意味から、「出張」としてもいいのかもしれませんが、主体が、「participants」なので、今回のような訳にしました。 まぁ、職員が会議等に出席すれば、同様にparticipants になるのですが。 以上ご参考まで。
