この英語のジョークがよく分かりません‥
彼に好意を持って頂いてるのですが、このジョークがよく分かりません。。 前のメール■「University in Japan sounds difficult! In ○○(その人の国名), There is no test. hmmmm... maybe that is not true. There is one University where there is "entrance exam war"... It is a school for girls only. ○○(その人の名前)University :D hahaha You have the best score ;) <3」 返信した後のメール■「Good luck in my University! The 'entrance exam' is very difficult. It is... very big and very hard. ;D hahaha 」

ANo. 4 & 5 です。補足を読みました。 もし私の考えがあっていれば（下ネタのジョークだという事）、質問者さんのおっしゃっている通りの可能性が高いと思います。 ＞＞「Shy girl is okay at first. I do not hate it. But I hope you are not shy forever! haha 」 も、そういう意味なんですかねぇ？ 私としたいみたいな‥？＜＜ まあ、男の人は、真剣なおつきあいであっても、そうでなくても、結局は好きな女性と intimate な関係になりたいものだと思います。なので、この3行の文章は、「最初はそのような関係でなくてもいいけど、後々は intimate になりたい」と言っているとも取れると思いますよ。（変な勘ぐりをせずに、そのままとれば、「今はシャイで、僕にあまり打ち解けてくれなくても、その内に、僕に対してはシャイでなくなって欲しいなあ。」みたいにもとれますけどね。笑）

ANo. 4です。少しだけ私の文章を訂正させて下さい。 「最後の一行は、下ネタのジョークです。」 ↓ 「最後の一行は、下ネタのジョークだと思います。」 私は普段から、当人でなくては分からない事は、言い切らないようにしているのですが、今回は言い切ってしまいました。すみません。下ネタのジョークだろうと言うのは、私の考えであって、違う可能性もありますので、ご了承ください。

最後の一行以外は、皆さんと同じ解釈ですが、う～む、皆さんまじめなんですね。 最後の一行は、下ネタのジョークです。 entrance exam つまり入るための試験が難しいと言っているのですよね。で、「とても大きく、とても固いんだ」と来れば、何か分かりますよね？

軽く意訳しますと、 日本の大学は大変そうだ！○○では試験なんてないよ。 うーん、でもそうとも限らないかな。 一つだけ入学試験が厳しい（直訳：入試戦争のある）大学があった… 女の子しか入れない大学で、それは○○大学なのさ。ははは。 一番高い点数を取ったのはきみだよ。 僕の大学で頑張ってね。 入学試験はとても難しいよ。 とても大きく（乗り越えられないというニュアンス）、大変だけどね。ははは。 ユーモア感を加えつつも、flirtしている感じですね。悪く言えば軽いノリです。 ;) <3 ←の意味が重要な気もします。

日本の大学 今回は日本の大学について書いてみました。 最近誰も回答してくれないのですが。英語のためがんばります。 実際僕も大学生の年齢なので、よく大学のことはわかるつもりです。 ちなみに２０です。 すいませんが最近英語力のライティングをあげようと英作文をまいにち書くようにしてます。 レベルのひくい英作文ではずかしいのですが。できれば文法や細かい間違いを指摘して頂けると幸いです。 I would like to talk about university in Japan. It is said that university in Japan is difficult to enter it, but it is easy to graduate from your university. How about foreign universities are. In the USA, on the contrary, it is easy to enter a university and difficult to graduate from it, so many student in the USA drop out from their university. I have friends who are university student in Japan. This is in my opinion, I think that my friends who are university student don’t trend to study hard. I am not criticizing them just because there are many temptations so many university students yield to temptation. I think if I were a university student in Japan, I would not study hard. This is because I tend to puzzle from surrounding environment. However, I like people who are university student !!!

Firstly, I maintain that the exam. Now, children have to do exam in my country. Mid-term test is part of exam. They study for mid-term test. My score is very bad when I was junior high school student. I was very sad. This is because I have study hard. It is true I could give good score, but I had given the exam for go to high school. My friend had given the exam too. While she have study hard, she couldn’t gave the exam. It is because she gave off heat on the day of the exam. Now, however, she is very happy. After all, she can do what she wants to do. I think it was luck. I didn’t know it happens. Now, but, I thinking it was luck. So I suppose that luck is important very much. この英文が正しいかどうか教えてください。 間違いがあれば、指摘してほしいです。 よろしくお願いします。

There is nothing so difficult but it becomes easy by practice. （どんな難しいことでも慣れれば容易になる。） という構文を、どうしても理解できません。 解説によると、butは「～しないなら、～でなければ」という意味らしいのですが、 それでなぜこのような訳になるのか分かりません。 それから、soはなぜveryだといけないのかも分かりません。 よかったら教えて下さい。

どんな難しいことでも慣れれば容易になる。 There is nothing so difficult but it becomes easy by practice. という文ですが、このitは状況のitでしょうか。 文法的にもよく分からない文章で、 Thereは第一文型で使う構文なので、butまでは There is nothing (which is) so difficult と解釈できたのですが、 意味不明のitが出てきて理解できないでいます。

そうだったんですか!全く分かりませんでした。 この後突然なぜか「Are you a shy girl,○○(私の名前)」と聞かれたんですが、そういう意味だったんですかねぇ？ ジョークが分からなかったので「人と場面によります。でも多分ちょっとシャイかもしれません。(人見知りって意味で)シャイな子は嫌いですか？」 と返すと、 「Shy girl is okay at first. I do not hate it. But I hope you are not shy forever! haha 」 も、そういう意味なんですかねぇ？ 私としたいみたいな‥？
