どちらが正しいのでしょうか。
英語から遠ざかると段々わからなくなってきます。文法的にはどちらも正解のような気もしますが、どうでしょう。 (1) High school girls seem to think nothing of being seen their panties. (2) High school girls seem to think nothing of their panties being seen.

(1)の場合はこのようになると思います。 High school girls seem to think nothing of having their panties being seen. となると(2)と変わりませんが・・・ 参照になればと思います。

My wife's niece, a high school senior, is a beautiful girl with an excellent, well-proportioned figure. Like many girls her age, she's narcissistic and obsessed with her looks, and constantly posting pictures of herself on social media. She's off to college in a few months, and in order to ensure she's attractive to boys, wants to get a boob job. She works in a clothing store and has saved toward the cost. Her mother and aunt are supportive and willing to help her pay for it. Their logic is, they both had boob jobs. 先日、英語の中間試験がありました。そこで一つだけ友達と採点しても、わからない問題がありましたので、どなたかお分かりになる方がいらっしゃれば教えてください。お願いします。 Smoking is bad for your health, to say nothing of being a public nuisance. (to say nothing of に下線が引かれている) 下線部の表現とは最も意味の異なるものを一つ選べ。 1. not to say 2. not to speak of 3. not to mention 4. let alone 自分の答えはとりあえず、1にしました。理由は1しか意味がわからなかったからです。というのも、to say nothing of の意味は「言うまでもなく」ですが、not to sayは「～とまではいかないが」という意味で、少し違うんじゃないかなと思ったからです。 お分かりになる方がいらっしゃれば、理由も合わせてお答えいただけると幸いです。よろしくお願いします。

文法的にどうしても解りません。be動詞と動詞が並んでいたりして、習ってきた文法と違います。どうゆう事か教えて下さい。 What did George think was far-fetched? Did he think that Luke being able to eat fifty eggs in one hour was far-fetched? "think was" と "Luke being" です。Luke being は Luke is では駄目なのでしょうか？ 宜しくお願いします。
