お返事どうもありがとうございます。少ない文脈ですみません。前後もっと抜き出してみます。 There may be said to have developed in the last few years a "revolt of hte individual" against the conformity which an exessive regard for material objects has imposed on daily life. Behind this change is a sense that personal posessions now have lost their power to distinction.
