次の文を直接話法の文に直していただけないでしょうか。

Susan asked me, "How do you make a paper crane?" なぜこのようになったのか、考えてみました。 間接話法の会話の中で使われている動詞（S + V の V）は "make" なので、質問をする時は、"Do you make ~?" という形になります。ですが、"how"があるので、この英文を直接話法に書き換えると、" How do you make ~?"になります。 参考までに、私が使っている英語で書かれた文法書をご紹介いたします。（今、手元に2冊あります。）ESL(English as Second Language) 用の参考書で英語で書かれていますが、すごーく昔に使っていた受験生用の「東大受験生の英文法」よりも使い易いので、このサイトで文法関連に回答する時に時々使っています。 "Understanding & Using English Grammar" by Prentice-Hall. 私の経験からですが、英文法はESLの教科書で勉強した方が楽だと思います。そうして、アメリカの大学生が使う"The Elements of Style" by William Strunk（これはコピーライトが "expire"しているので、参考サイトで全文見る事ができます。）などを見てみると更に英文の書き方に対する理解が深まると思います。 私の場合はアメリカ英語なので、イギリス英語を外国人学生用に編集した文法書もどなたかに教えて頂いたら、効率良く、且つ、幅広く英語を勉強することができるのではないかと思います。 英語の学習に以前（というか今も）苦労した者のアドバイスです。

こんばんは、私公立中学校で放課後の自習を支援するアルバイトをしております。 先日、中学３年生の男子生徒に話法の転換で、 My mother said to me "please help me." を転換すると、My mother asked me to help her. になるという話をしたのですが、何故、help herなのかと問われました。日本語に訳すと、「私の母は私に『彼女を』手伝うように頼んだ。」となるので、しっくるくる日本語ではhelp meでは？と聞かれました。 私は、命令文の話法は上記のようになる。と覚えているので、生徒に何と説明すれば良いのか困っています。 英語を教えている身としては恥ずかしい質問ですが、中学３年生にわかりやくす説明する方法をご教授願います。

命令文を間接話法にすると次のようになりますよね。 Mum told me “Get up early” → Mum told me to get up early. では次の文です。 My friend said to me “Let's go to the park.” このように、let'sで始まる文はどうしたらいいんでしょうか？
