Morality is just about what is right and what is wrong. Wisdom is about knowldege and the ability to apply it with insight and understanding. Emotion is a strong feeling. The question of a feeling being strong arises if there is one.

＃３，４です。 ＃３でミスがあります。訂正させて下さい。 ＞Native 2 の方は、sense （感覚）がなければ感動（強い感情）は生まれないと言っていますが、私もそのように思います。 →五感のことが頭に残っていたので、間違えてしまいました。「sense（感覚）がなければ」ではなく、『feeling（感情）がなければ』に訂正させて下さい。 お許し下さいね。また、何度もスミマセン。

こんにちは。 高校生ですか、ずいぶん難しい問題をしているんですね！試しに私も何も考えないでこの問題を解いたら、正解通りになりました。二人のネイティブのうちでは、Native 2 の方の言っていることが納得がいきますね。1 の方はあなたの言われることをできるだけ理解しようされており誠実な方だと思いますが、少し問題の趣旨を誤解されているようです。 a) Everyone admits that Jim is a man of sense. b) I wonder if a plant has sense. 1: emotion 2: instinct 3: morality 4: power of feeling 5: practical wisdom a)ジムは分別のある人だと誰もが認めている。 b)植物には感覚があるのかしら。 a man of sense の sense は、分別、判断力、良識のことです。a sense of humor と言ったら、「ユーモアを理解することができる能力」です。つまり、この場合の sense は、日常生活上に使われて役立つ判断力、すなわち、実用的な知恵 ( practical wisdom ) のことになりますね。 人間には聴覚、視覚をはじめ五感( five senses ) がありますね。植物にはそのような感覚、つまり、ものを感じ取る能力があるかしらと言っています。power of feeling です。Native 2 の方は、sense （感覚）がなければ感動（強い感情）は生まれないと言っていますが、私もそのように思います。 少しでもお役に立てば幸いです。

アメリカに38年住んでいる者です。 私なりに書かせてくださいね。 私もNative 1さんとまったく同じ考えを持っています。 つまり、Native 2さんが言っている様にsenseとmoralityとはまったく関係がないのです。 しかし他の全ての単語が使え、どれがa man of senseに一番近いといえるものではないとNative 1さんは言っているわけです。 私もそう思います。 それを言う前に、この問題集はとんでもない物だ、質問自体もおかしいし選択肢も余計おかしい物にしているし、実際に使われている「センス」を出した物ではないし、他の参考書を探した方が良いとも言っていますね。 同感以上のものはありません。 これらの質問だけを見ても私がこのカテでいい続けているフィーリングがまったくわかっていない作者と監修者が作ったとしか考えられません。 つまり、英語と言うものが分かっていない、と言うことです。 b)にしても英語として非常に変な(変わった？）変文です。 power of feelingって？とNative 1は言っているわけですね。 私もかなり一般文章としては分かりません。 詩的表現であれば、まぁ分かるかな、と言うレベルの文章であり、他の二つの文章の方が良いですね。 これでいかがでしょうか。 分かりにくい点がありましたら、補足質問してください。
(1)の方について解答させてください。 man of sense というのは熟語です。 分別のある人、 物（理屈）の分かった人、 話せる人 という意味がありますので、 それに一番近いものが、5番のpractical wisdom であるということでしょう。 moralityが意味する「道徳」や「品行」などの意味とは、 日本語に訳してみてもニュアンスが違うと思います。
