one above and one below の意味を教えて頂けないでしょうか。

こんにちは。No.2で回答を試みたmanicmondayです。tupacshakurさんの回答に対するご意見とNo.3回答者paraurtiさんのご意見を読ませていただき、私の回答したoneの解釈が間違いであることがわかりました。訂正ありがとうございます。おっしゃるとおり、oneは人だと思います。 それで、色々英語で検索してみましたら、その歌詞について書かれてあるものを見つけたので、これが参考になるのではないでしょうか？ ↓ In the second verse, she says there are things she would like to have: flowing blond hair, to be liked, etc. Her need has become intense within the last few days. People cast her aside and think of her as below them. However, she yells that she has her brains and her sexuality, which are the only two things about herself she likes. "And the sky was all violet/I want again, but violent, more violent/And I'm the one with no soul/One above and one below." ということで、oneを人と置き換えて、解釈すると、 one above and one below は、 one (might think of me)above (them) and one (maight think of me) below (them).となるのではないでしょうか？ そうすると、one above and two belowとlive で歌っていても、その二人は私のことを見下しているっていうように本人は思ったのかもしれないですよね？どうでしょうか？ そんな感じで訳すと、 「空は全体がすみれ色になってた。 私はもう一度欲しい（やりたい）って思った、でももっともっとひどくなって・・・ そして（気づいたら）魂がないのは私だけ。 それを見上げてくれる（崇拝する）人もいれば見下す（侮辱する）人もいる。」 というような理解ができると思います。 その他、空が紫色になっていくっていうのは、夜が深まってくるっという意味のようですね。 参考になれば幸です。

My husband and I are both freelancers in creative fields of work and do well financially. We save a little more now that we’re older and we never want for anything. My husband has always made more money more consistently than I do, and with his salary, we are more than comfortable. I am in a field that pays generously but sporadically.
