特に深い意味はなさそうですね。「楽しい誕生日を迎えたかな～？」みたいなノリですから。その意味で、たまたま「バラや宝石やエステ三昧の１日過ごせた～？」と言っているだけですからね。それにいちいち、「エステは行ったことがありません」「花束はもらいませんでした」などと反応してもしょうがないですからね。 「メッセージありがとう。気がついてくれてうれしかったよ。とても楽しい誕生日を迎えてました。じゃあね」くらいの、ふつーの感じでいいと思います。 ご参考までに、それだったら、 Thanks for your message! Glad you cared. Yes I had a great birthday! Take care! こんな感じですかね。メール文だし、若い方だと想定し、軽めにいってみました。

訳がよくわかりません。教えて下さい。 (1)If someone doesnt like you for who you are then there is no reason to worry about them anyway. 前半がよくわかりません。特にfor who you areが？です。 (2)Its s very cute height to be. 訳についての質問ではないのですが、このto beはどういう意味？なのでしょうか？to beはなきゃダメなのでしょうか？ (3)I wish I could find out but I dont talk to my real father anymore. 後半の訳ですが、「もう実父と話さない」ですよね？色々と考えてしまったのですが、real fatherと言う言い方は普通にするんでしょうか？別の父親がいて言い分けてるのかな？なんてちょっと思ってしまったのですが(汗) ちょっとした生い立ちの話をしてて、「思い出せないんだよね～i wish…」となっています。 (4)Some people want to get married so bad they end up making bad compromise thinking someone would make a good husband when they really wont. よくわからなかったのですが、「結婚したがっている一部の人々は、彼女たちが本当にする気のない時に、良いダンナになってくれるだろうと最終的に妥協する」・・・？？とサッパリです。。 沢山あってすみません。教えていただけませんでしょうか。よろしくお願いします。m(__)m

すいませんが最近英語力のライティングをあげようと英作文をまいにち書くようにしてます。 レベルのひくい英作文ではずかしいのですが。できれば文法や細かい間違いを指摘して頂けると幸いです。 I have been there when I came to Australia first time. I think that the time flows really slowly in Cairns. This is because Cairns is a kind of tourist city. Many people are coming from all over the world. It may look like Hawaii. There was one thing that I could not believe was that someone walked with strip to the waist. Someone call the police and catch him if he would do it in my country. So I didn’t believe it. And I have one more thing surprising me is that many people have tattoos in Cairns. My country image of tattoo is very bad. There are few people have tattoo in my country. For example, like a group of gangster. My mother said “you mustn’t have a tattoo” before going to Australia. However, there are many tattoos includes women as well. Cairns is small city but people are good and commodity price is not expensive. Cairns is one of the city that live easily.

最近、ブログなどで「ナピバ」という言葉を目にします。 どうやら誕生日の時に使われているようなのですが、 なぜ「ハピバ」では無いのか気になっています。 ナッピーって、英語ではオムツのことですよね・・・？ なぜこのような言い方がされるようになったのでしょう？ 何か特別の言い回しだったりするんでしょうか？ 一応私なりに考えてみたの理由です。 ・ただ単に誰かがキーボードの"H"と"N"を打ち間違えた ・くせ字だとか、デザイン性のある文字でHappyと書いた際、HがNに見えた どちらも言葉の意味自体は関係のない理由です； どなたか、ご存知の方いらっしゃいましたら、よろしくお願いします。
