「Index が普遍的または中立的であるという根本的な前提から生じた誤用のようですが、Index は普遍的でも中立的でもありませんよ」 だから「どちらでもありません」と言っていますね。 誤用の原因は「普遍性や中立性にある」のではなく、「普遍的でしょ？ 中立的でしょ？」と「根本的な所から誤解して、その誤解を前提にしていること」にあり、その誤解を解くために「普遍的でも中立的でもありませんよ」という意味で「どちらでもありませんよ」と一旦 Period で文を終わらせてから It is neither of these things. つまり They are not correct idea. いつも有難うございます。 しかし今回ばかりはかってが違うように思われます。 インデックスの誤用の原因はあきらかにその非中立性・非普遍性にあるからです。そしてそれがこのフィールドの文献に共通の見解でもあるからです。
