教えてください。

「What's the price?」で、おいくらですか、という聞き方ができると思います。

このように、数値に対しWhatを使う表現は、どんなケースでも可能なのでしょうか？

たとえば以下のように。
・How high is it → What's the haight of it?
・How hot is it today? → What's the temperature today?
・How much do you earn annually? → What's your annual salary?

名詞形、あるいは、意味が相当する名詞、があれば、
だいたい、what で聞けます。

How high is it? - What is the/its height?
How wide is it? - What is the/its width?
How deep is it? - What is the/its depth?

How hot/cold is it? - What is the temperature?
How much is it? - What is the price?

How tall are you? - What is your height?
How heavy are you? - What is your weight?
How smart are you? - What is your IQ?

How much do you earn? - What is your earning/income?
How much do you earn? - What do you make?
