大変失礼しました。自分で訳してみたのですが、あまりうまく訳せられなかったので、アドバイスをしてほしかったんです。訳の中でで明らかに間違っている部分があれば教えてください。 訳：1790年ラプラスは微粒間の力の数理的な理論を公式で示しました。機械的なものは熱や光学的な現象と同じくらいうまく適用されました。1820年J.Fourierの熱についての数理的な理論は力学的な問題しか適用できなかった数理的分析の枠組みに取り入れられました。1830年まで、機械的なエーテルの振動によって伝えられた仮定の光（Fresel)の波理論）は一般的に受けいられました。また、光学に関する研究は機械的で数理的な科学の枠組み内に取り入られるようになりました。
