和訳をお願いします
文通している相手といつか会おうという話になって、次の一文がありました。 どういう意味でしょうか。 kross your fingers if you mind something of us ;) よろしくお願いします。

直接の回答ではありませんが、ロングマン英英辞典にはcrossの5番目にこの用法がのってます。 cross your fingers--- used to say that you hope something will happen in the way you want: 例文 Cross your fingers that I get the job. 和文でいうと ～しますように！ みたいなニュアンスなのではないでしょうか？

cross one's fingersは、人差し指と中指を交差させるジェスチャーのことで、形が十字架に似ているので、「胸の前で十字を切る」ことと同じ、とアメリカ人にききました。ゆびきりげんまんの話をしている時に、その人がそう説明してくれたので、「神に祈る」というよりは「約束を実行することを神に誓う」というような意味合いが強いんではないでしょうか。

確かに言われてみれば、十字架の形に似ています。 最近の映画では、「ペイチェック」でベン・アフレックがこれをやってるシーンがありました。 ありがとうございました。

crossの間違いではないですか？もしそうなら直訳で ある程度の私たちを気にかければ、成功を祈ります。 って感じになります。おそらく 私たちの考え（会うことについて）がうまくいけばいいですね って意味かとおもいます。

ありがとうございます。 やはりcrossの間違いですよね。 辞書で調べたのですが、crossを使った熟語にそのようなものはありませんでしたので質問しました。

かなり長いですが、よろしくお願いします。 I want to you listen, and pay close attention for what I’m going to say. If you didn’t have time today for some “You, and me time” You haven’t made the time. Quite obviously you say in terms that apparently I’m important, that you love me, etc. It depends on you to make the time, as for me I do make time for you. When I’m not free I’ll tell you, if I am I’ll tell you. I’m telling you this because I love you. All I’m asking you is to make some time for us. FaceTime especially, if you don’t want to that’s fine. Just say something. I can’t read your mind.
