英語の倒置について

倒置しなければならないという決まりはありません。 別の部分を倒置させて There is an abundance of ..... in the Antarctic... でも構いませんし まったく倒置させずに An abundance of ... is in the Antarctic... でも構いません。 文のリズムとしてどれがいいのか、作文する人の感性に任されています。ただ、主語が長くなることを嫌う傾向がありますので、倒置をして is を早めに持ってくることが多いようです。
