とりあえず

1) which→where
この文の主語は 「ある状況における、その中で会話が起こるような環境」と言っている。
その中でという関係詞は「where」とか「in which」を置くべき。

2) unless→if 　unless＝if not　 unless自体に「もし～でなければ」という意味がある。

3)grew →grow　　感覚動詞＋目的語＋原形不定詞　「～が～するのを見届ける。」

4)for→to

5)such→so　「それほど大きい塊を見ることは稀である。」　bigにかかると思われるので副詞の「so」（それほど）置くべき。
suchは「そんな、そのような」という形容詞でnuggetsにかかってしまい、bigを強調できない。
6)enough good →　good enough　副詞enoughは後置。

7)for →　to

(5) は such big gold nuggets の部分は正しいです。
nuggets という名詞がある以上 such でいいです。
such a tall boy のように，名詞 boy があれば such です。
so を用いるなら，so tall で終わるか，so tall a boy とする。

such a tall boy ＝ so tall a boy ということになりますが，
複数になって
such tall boys は正しくても，so tall boys とは言えません。
この a が大切なのです。

誤りは Rarely が文頭に出れば
Rarely have the gold miners found ～
と倒置形にする必要があります。
