会話英文の質問です。（省略について）

質問

A:What's wrong? You look troubled.

B:My sister helped me with my math homework,but no matter how hard I tried to do it,
I simply could not get my head around it.

A:Would you like me to show you?
It's ready not that difficult.

この文なのですが、
Would you like me to show you のあとにget my head around itが省略されていると習ったのですが、変な日本語になる気がします。
しかも、普通省略がある場合は、その文と同じ形が前にあり、
かつ、それを見つける痕跡が省略がある文に隠れているはずですよね？
この文には、それが見当たらないのですが、私の目が節穴なのでしょうか？
youではなく、your'sならyour math homeworkってことなんだなって思えるのですが。

→すっきりしない英語表現かなと思います。My sister helped me with my math homeworkとあるのに、but以下はmy sisterのhelpとは関係なくI tried to do it, / I simply could not get my head around it.となっているのが、気になります。
No matter how hard we tried itとかならいいかも。

Would you like me to show you get my head around it.
これはあり得ません。
Would you like me to show you to get my head around it.でもだめです。
Would you like me to show you how I can get my head around it?
というなら、意味は通じると思いますが、的確な英語表現ではないと思います。

It's ready...では通じません。It's really...ならいい文です。

Would you like me to show you how?
Would you like me to show you how to answer the question(s)?
Would you like me to show you how to solve the problem(s)?
などなら理にかなった文です。

私なら、もとの文も
Would you like me to show you how?
としたいところです。

なお
Would you like me to help you with your homework?
は言えても
Would you like me to show you with your homework?* ←こちらは無理だと思います。

★youではなく、your'sならyour math homeworkってことなんだなって思えるのですが。
→your'sと言う言い方はありません。yoursならありますが。
→Would you like me to show yours?は、この文脈では意味をなしません。

変ですね。あなたの言うとおりです。敢て言えば、youの後にはhow to work on math homework位でしょう。あなたの目に節穴なんかありません。正しく理解されています。
