英語の問題についてです
"今や自分達の車を手に入れたのだから、～" という文章の英訳に "Now that we have got our own car,～" となっていたのですが、何故haveが必要なのですか？また、haveが無かったら文として成り立ちませんか？ 教えて下さい(ノ><)ノ 優しい回答まってます。

確かに日本語では「手に入れた」というと過去のこととして捉えられますが、英語だと「手に入れて、今も車を所持している」という現在完了形として解釈されます。 なので、have gotと表現されているのだと思います。 例えば「車を運転した」だと英語でも過去形となります。 わかりづらかったらすみません(>_<)
