抽象的な英文の解釈の仕方を教えてください

私が得意とするベタ読み。文章を直訳してみる。それで意味がなすならば、分かりやすい日本語に直す。 2番目は翻訳となり日本語が上手いかどうかに掛かっています。 直訳をされているから、問題点を指摘しやすい。 ＞The developmental story of relationship that has dominated our understanding of a woman is that 英文解釈で理解をすべきところは 1. A of Bと言う表現があれば2種類の読み方があると理解をすること。最初はBを形容詞として扱いBのAと訳す。”story of relationship”を同様に訳せば、「関係の物語」となり。Bに当たるrelationshipが形容詞として成立たない。この場合はAとBは同格となる。その場合”~に関する”もしくは”~について”や”~となる”と訳してみる。すれば”関係となる物語”となり意味をなす。”The developmental story ”を”発展していった考えとは”と上手く訳されていますが、A of Bをばらして訳してしまったのはこの段階(直訳）では早ずぎると思う。 2. A of Bの構文に関係代名詞がBの後に来た場合の注意点は、2つの理解の仕方がある。関係代名詞のthatの先行詞がBであるときとAであるときがある。一般的な解釈は”a car of my brother”は" my borother'S car" となりA of Bのcoreになる名詞はAとなる。だから、thatは”A of B”のAを先行詞としている場合がある。上記のケースはrelationshipとdevelpmental storyは同格であるためどちらの先行詞でも同じ意味になるはずですが、 The developmental story has dominated our understanding of a woman The relationship has dominated our understanding of a woman 意味を取りやすいほうで訳してみる。

Life has no pleasure nobler than that of a friendship. この英文について、以前質問しました。その際、Life has no pleasure (which is) nobler than the pleasure of a friendship. （人生で友情ほど気高い喜びはない）という回答を頂きました。和訳もよくわかりますが、このように、関係代名詞の主格が省略されることはあるんでしょうか？その際には、何か制約があるんでしょうか。詳しく教えてください。お願いします。

英文翻訳をお願いします But always know there is more to a woman than her looks in my opinion. If a man gets too caught up on a woman's looks he gets blinded and can never truly see the real woman inside, which makes him and the woman live in a false reality. But once the man and woman truly see eachother for who they are and accept eachothers differences then that's where a true relationship begins, whether it's good or bad.
