和訳をお願いします。
長文のなかの一文なのですが、答え合わせにしたいので和訳をお願いします。＾＾ This difficulty goes back to our language, which developed in an era of deep religious belief and therefore draws a clear distinction between the spiritual and the physical. …という一文なのですが。 「spiritual and the physical（精神と肉体？）の間で明白に区別されている」と読める文がどこにかかるのかいまいちよくわかりません。（difficultyにかかると思ったのですがエキサイトだと違うことを言われます…。（しくしく）） 自分では「この困難は我々の言語に回顧し、深い宗教的信仰の時代で明らかにされ、故に精神と肉体の間で～…。」と訳してしまいます…。 お時間のあるときによろしくおねがいします。 読み方のコツなども伝授していただけると嬉しいです。＾＾

LaLuさん、こんばんは。 難しい文章ですね・・ ＞This difficulty goes back to our language, which developed in an era of deep religious belief and therefore draws a clear distinction between the spiritual and the physical. go back (to) もどる、さかのぼる、回顧する era 時代、年代 deep religious belief 深く宗教を信仰すること spiritual(a)精神的 精神の (n)精神的な事柄 physical(a)肉体的な、身体の、肉体の (n)肉体的な事柄 （米）では、身体検査のこともいうそうです。 develop 発達する、発展する in an era of～ ～の時代に となるので、 「この困難は、我々の言語に立ち返る。 それは（我々の言語とは）深く宗教を信仰していた時代に発展したもので、それゆえ、精神的な事柄と、肉体的な事柄との間の、明らかな違いを引き出しているのである」 draw は、引く、引き出すのほか、区別する、という意味もあるので 「この困難は、我々の言語に起因する。 それは、深い信仰の時代に発達した、それゆえに 精神的なものと、肉体的なものの間に、はっきりした違いが区別されているのである」 のように訳すのがいいかも知れません。 読み方は、主な文章が ＞This difficulty goes back to our language, だと思うので、languageのあとで少し区切ればいいと思います。 ご参考になればうれしいです。

”, which” は”our language”を意味していると思うので、 われわれの言語は深い宗教的信仰の時代に発達した、それゆえ、精神と肉体の間にはっきりとした線引きがなされている・・・ というような意味ではないかと思います。 全文を読んでいないので良くわからないのですが！

Man is a weak and poorly endowed creature as far as his physical body is concerned and his survival depended on the use of his brain and his hands . 学ぶべきことがたくさんあったので、人類の地球の征服はゆっくりと進んだ。人類は弱く、肉体的な体において、また脳と体の利用に頼った生存の限りでは、恵まれていない動物です。 上のように訳して見たのですが、２文目の文構造がよく分らなくて自然な訳になりません。 説明お願いします！

Ancient religious belief in China regarded the cassia tree as the Tree of Life, flourishing since time's beginning in Paradise , an exquisite garden at the headwaters of the Yellow River. Whoever entered Paradise, it was believed, and ate the fruit of this tree would win immortality and eternal bliss.

In other words, it is possible to match for inferior in physical strength and ahead of them. Such claims are persistent among some gun control opposers. ２文目と１分目は可能であればまとめていただいても大丈夫です。 初めは一文の状態で考えていたのですが、どのように英文を作成すればいいのかわからず、２文に切りました。 そちらで問題なければ２文のままで、ただ、文章的におかしいなどあれば文章を省いていただいでも大丈夫です。 こちらの英文の添削をお願いします。
