see ～ as…ing 「～ が…していると見る、見なす」と理解します。 regard にも同様の用法があります。お手持ちの辞書で確かめて下さい。 本文の訳は この理由で、私たちはこの対話(dialogue)がプラトンが抱いていた本当の考え(イデア idea)を含んでいると見なすことはできない。

直訳すれば、「この理由により、我々はその対話をプラトンが持っていたような真のイデアのいくつかを有するものと見ることは出来ない」となるのではないかと思いますが、as containing の as は「～のように」という意味で用いられる用法であろうかと思います。辞書を見ると、「様態」という分類がありましたからこれではないかと思います（分類なんかどうでもいい人間なもので、「様態」という用語も初めて見ましたけれど・・・）。
