再度失礼いたします。Mei-jiang51です。 ＞しかし、いつもならすぐ返信が来るのですが彼からの返信がありません。彼は前回のメールで私との関係を終わりにしようとしていたのでしょうか？？ 気になって何も手に付きません(>_<) ご質問者さんはとても可愛らしい方ですね（決して馬鹿にしてる訳ではありませんよ。恋だのトキメキだのとは遠い所にいる３３歳の既婚のおばちゃんからすれば羨ましい限りです。）。ですが、ちょっとここは冷静に気持ちを落ち着かせてみませんか？ 恋愛事、しかもその好きな相手が海をまたいだ向こうにいるとなれば不安になる気持ちも相手の気持ちを疑ってしまう気持ちも良く解りますが、この彼氏さんが言った”I do like u and want to spend time with u”と言う言葉を忘れてはいけませんよ。 ＞I`m serious about going to Japan or other country someday. I can`t say exactly when but I am serious. Please take care until then and keep your spirit`s up. このsomeday が気になったのですが、 私個人の意見では、この彼氏さんははっきり決まっていないのに、ご質問者さんをぬか喜びさせない為に、“いつかは”と言う所を強調した様に思われます。ここで例えば“多分一年以内には．．．”と言う様な時期を特定した言い回しをし、結果一年以内にご質問者さんの側に来れなかった場合、 １：ご質問者さんを期待させて一年は確実に“待たせる（他の男性に見向きもしないで彼だけを思う）”事になる ２：結局まだ会えないと言う事を伝える事によって、増々ご質問者さんをがっかりさせる ３：結果的に自分が“嘘つき”になってしまう と言う結果になってしまいます。彼氏さんもお仕事をしていらっしゃるならもう承知の上かとは思いますが、社会人になってしまうとやはり仕事が一番になってしまう（自分の生活がありますから）し、学生の頃の様に沢山の休みがある訳ではありません。この不況な今の世の中、仕事は探せば見つかると言う訳でもありませんしね。 もう一つ、ご質問者さんに一つ頭に置いておいて貰いたい事は、“異国に移住する事の”重大さです。ご質問者さんはご自身がアメリカに言った立場ですので、多分もう“外国に行く”と言う事にそこまで抵抗は無いと思われます。ですが、彼氏さんはどうでしょう？外国と言ってもヨーロッパの国なのであれば話しは違いますが、彼氏さんが行くであろう場所はアジアの国です。アメリカで学ぶ外国語は大半がアルファベット（若しくはアルファベットに限りなく近い文字）を使うヨーロッパや南米の言葉で、韓国語や日本語を外国語として取る人はいない、と言う所からも解る様にアメリカ文化とアジア文化では違いが大きいですから、元々日本と言う国そのものに興味が無かった人なのであれば、日本に移住する、と言うのは一大事です。 彼氏さんが学生の立場で日本に留学する、と言うのと、今やってる仕事を辞めて日本で一から社会人としてやっていく、と言うのではやはり決断の重さが違ってきます。お互いを好きだ、と言う気持ちはとてもステキですし、チャンスがあれば日本に来ても良いと仰ってくれる彼氏さんもとても優しい方だとは思いますが、行動に移すとなるとやはりもう少し時間と勇気の準備が必用になると思うのです。 随分話しがそれてしまいましたが、ご質問者さんの当初の ＞しかし、いつもならすぐ返信が来るのですが彼からの返信がありません。彼は前回のメールで私との関係を終わりにしようとしていたのでしょうか？？ と言う質問の回答は、私は彼氏さんがご質問者さんとの関係を終わりにしようとしたから”とは思いませんでしたよ。こちらでもちょっと可愛らしいジョークで、若い恋人同士が長電話のすえ、もう切らなければ行けないのに相手の事が恋しくて”バイバイ”と言った後も中々電話を切る事が出来ず”そっちから切ってよ”とお互いに言う、と言うのがあるのですが．．．例えばこのご質問者さんからのメールにまた返事をしてしまうときっとご質問者さんもそれに返事をするからメールを終わらせるタイミングが無くなる、と思っての事では無いか、と。実際、ご質問者さんと彼氏さんのやりとりは、 ・彼氏さんはご質問者さんに好意を持っている。 ・いずれは何処の国であってもご質問者さんの側に行きたいと思って居る。 ・現在は身動きが取れる状況では無いから、ご質問者さんにも焦らず待ってて欲しいと思って居る。 と、一通り結論がついている様に思えます。ご質問者さん側からすれば、これだけ遠くに離れていては相手の気持ちを確かめるのはメールくらいしか無く、出来るだけこちらが不安にならない様な言葉を常にかけてもらいたいと言う気持ちは解りますが、気持ちを率直に伝えるアメリカ人でも何度も何度もラブレターの様なメールをやり取りする男性はあまり見かけません。多分彼氏さんからすれば、話さなければ行けない重要な事と自分の気持ちは伝えたから今回はこれで一区切り、と言った感じでメールを返信して来なかっただけだと思いますよ。 頑張ってくださいね。

And suppose I choose something other people don't like ... Anyway I'm finished now and I have what I I need to have. Hmmm Italian food. Do you like Italian food a lot? As for the chopsticks ... it's not really strange for me. Personally I use chopsticks to cook pasta. It's easy to stir and take some spaghetti out to see if it's cooked enough. But eating ... I use fork :)But when I went to an Italian restaurant in Osaka they also gave chopsticks. Can you eat pasta with a fork? Or you think it's easier with chopsticks? Don't worry ... we won't be having pasta when you're in Belgium. About the chili oil. It's me that needs to thank you. You gave it to me and you introduced me to this chili oil. It's really nice on salad. Without you I would never know it can be so nice. If you bring some to Belgium you can bring your favorite brand. It doesn't need to be specifically this one. I like to know what you like. Don't worry if it's spicy ... I can take very spicy food. But are you sure it's not too much trouble? ... maybe you don't like it. Actually it looks more like what a horse would eat ... hahaha. You can try ... but we should have something more authentic (Belgian) for you. And also as a backup ... because I really don't think you will like it :)

As for the last thing (the fact that you ignored me), yes, I have to admit it was quite a hard hit. I have been really, deeply sad and disappointed because of that. You know, because I didn't expect if from you! I know you are emotional and sometimes just don't feel like talking. That's fine of course. But those times, it's always better to say "Sorry, I don't feel like talking today". Always, because, Mika, ignoring someone is really, really cruel, especially if there is no harm from the ignored person. You see, I thought "Is this what I deserve just because I wanted to be honest with her?". I thought that was really mean... a bit cruel maybe, because we are friends. I simply didn't expect you could behave like that to me ^^ So yeah, I got really depressed for quite some time. Because... because of what I written in the letter you didn't receive yet! I hope you can get it soon :) But in the end it seems you understood, so I accept your apologies, thank you! ^^ It's okay now :)

英訳お願いいたします。 Oh last Friday I went to the super market and I took some pictures of viennoiserie. They don't look very nice since it's only from the super market. But it should give you an idea what it is. It's quite nice. Many people were looking at me thinking ... "why is he taking pictures of viennoiserie?" ... Of course they don't know that I'm taking pictures for my cute ●●:) Are you sure it's not too much trouble to bring a hair dryer? I don't know anything about hair dryers. Maybe you could teach me what's a good one when you're here, ok? If you wouldn't have enough space or it it would be too troublesome I can just get one. But I want to get a good one ... because I don't want your hair to catch fire or something :) Grrr .. time for me to go to work. In my case it's a little bit the opposite ... I keep thinking of you instead of my work. I don't think anyone can blame me ...after all you're sooo pretty. I hope those 3 weeks will pass very quickly and I can come and pick you up at the airport!
