英文解釈で困っています
英文の解釈が合っているかどうかの確認をしたいので、 英語に自信のある方、どうぞよろしくお願いします！ I couldn't have flown it better if I had done it 18 times before. シチュエーション）パラシュート飛行で前人未到の記録を樹立した男が、 飛行後に話した言葉です。 私の解釈）もし自分が～していたら、私はこの飛行をもっとより良く することは出来なかったでしょう。 「18 times before」の箇所が理解出来ません。 この飛行以前に18回チャレンジしていて、うまくいかなかった 過去18回のうち、うまく飛べていたとしても、今回ほど記録を 伸ばせなかったに違いない、ということなのでしょうか？

「could＋否定＋better」は「これ以上のことは出来なかったろう＝今回が最高だ」という意味です。 >"if I had done it 18 times before" 18回というのが特別な数字かどうか不明ですが、「何度も繰り返しやっていたら」（マンネリになって緊張が失われていたら）と解釈出来ます。「いきなりやったから記録が生まれたのであって、何度もやってたらこうは行かなかったろう」というのが私の解釈です。

"You were in more danger than perhaps anyone but I realized."について 日本語訳では "君がどんなに危険な状態にあるかを認識しておったのは、わしだけだったじゃろう。" とあるのですが、なぜこのような日本語訳になるのでしょうか？ "You were in more danger than perhaps anyone." だと "君は他の人よりもっと危険な状態にあった" となると思うんですが、そこに"but I realize"がつくとなぜ上記のような訳になるのか教えてください。 2. " I was sure, too, knowing him as I have done, that he would not rest until he kill you."について この文の" knowing him as I have done"に関してです。 日本語訳では"あやつを知るわしとしては"となっているのですが、やはり、なぜこのような意味になるのかわかりません。 "knowing him"(あやつを知っている)、as (～のように)、I have done と分けて考えてみたのですが、最後の I have doneはどう解釈すればよいのでしょうか？ 教えてください。 よろしくお願いします。

海外に住む友人（英語ネイティブ）とメールをしていて、意見のすれ違いでよくケンカをし、「もうメールしない。このメールを最後にする」とか私が何回か言っていましたが、その度に仲直りしてきたのですが、この前私が真剣に聞いていることを冗談で返してきて、ついまたケンカをして、下記のようなメールを送りました。（私の英語の間違いはご容赦ください・・・） （私）I wrote last mail before...but I couldn't stop. so...I should stop to write now. You don't need to use your time for me. 今までだったら、「そういう意味でいったんじゃなかったんだよ」とかそういう文が返事できていたのですが、何回も「もうメールしない」とつっぱねていたせいか、今回は （友人）Just do it. と返ってきました。 私はこの一文をみて、「じゃぁそうしろ（だったらもうメール送ってくるな）」という意味だと思ったのですが、英語を勉強している友人に聞いたら、私が否定で言っているから、これは「そんなことするな（メール止めるなよ）」 って意味なのでは？と言われました。 本人にどんな意味？とは今はさすがに聞けないので、どっちの解釈が正しいのか教えていただけますでしょうか・・・ よろしくお願いします。
