仮定法について
「I couldn't have done it without your help.(あなたの助けなしでは出来なかった。)」 質問(1)withoutはbut forに書き換えが可能ですか？また、その部分を"～があれば"と言いたいときはwithで合っていますか？ 質問(2)「If you hadn't helped me, I couldn't have done it.」「If it hadn't been for your help, I couldn't have done it.」これら2つの英文は上の英文と同じ意味になりますか？前者は、なんとなく会話で使うとしたら、不自然なようにも思います。

＃２です。補足です。 SPS700が書いた「似たようなものですね。どちらも会話で使うとしたら、不自然なように思います。Without you help で前半を片付けるのが普通でしょう。 」は正しくないです。 上記はとても自然な英語です。 その上、「Without you help」は正しい英語ではないです。「you」ではなくて、「your」→「without your help」

＃２です。補足です。 ＞＞１。withoutが口語表現、but forが文語表現ということでしょうか？ とはっきり分けるほどではありませんが、but for は、ちょっと改まった感じがします。 ＞＞２。withが使えるのですね。(この文章ではevenも必要?) even がなくても使えます。 ＞＞３。2つとも会話では不自然になり、使わないのですね…。 いえ、使っても意味は通じます。

1)"but for"のforが無くなり、「～but with your help I did.」 になる意味が分からないです…。 原文の意味と変わらないです。文法の違いだけ 2)の2つの文は会話では使わないのでしょうか？ 是非！！ 個人的に、「Thanks, I couldn't have done it without out」が好きですが「I couldn't have done it without your help」もよく使います。 皮肉を使う時はこれをよく使う「If you hadn't helped me, I couldn't have done it.」。理由は、こちらの方が微妙に丁寧ですから。

１）「but for]そのままで書き換えることは不可能です。 I couldn't have done it、 but with your help I did. はどうですか？ ２）意味は同じです。 けど。。。「If it hadn't been for your help」の方が助かった気持ちが示しています。

仮定法の 3rd conditionalとmixed conditionalについて質問です。 If I had got up earlier, I wouldn't have missed the bus. このような3rd conditionalについては理解できています。 次に、 If I had got up earlier, I would be on the bus. 「もし～していたら、今頃～なのに」 このようなif節が、「主語 + 過去完了形」、後ろが「would + 動詞の原形」のmixed conditionalも理解できます。 しかし映画などを見ていると、 (1)If I didn't have you to worry about, I would have clobbered her. (2)If it weren't for Sophie, I would have been a scarecrow for the rest of my life. などのような先ほどのmixed conditionalとは逆のmixedがよくでてきます。 （ちなみにこの文は「ハウルの動く城」の英語版の字幕からです） これがどういう意味なのか、いまいちよくわかりません。 例えば(2)の文で、 If it hadn't been for Sophie, I would have been a scarecrow.... にしたら意味がどう変わるのでしょうか？ ここの違いがよくわからないので、教えていただけたら嬉しいです。 それと、仮定法には全部でいくつの種類があるのでしょうか？ 私が知っているのは、 1st conditional 2nd conditional 3rd conditional mixed conditional zero conditional です。 （すみませんが、日本語での呼ばれ方はよくわかっていません） ほかにも何かあるのでしょうか？
