honor は相当フォーマルな感じで、偉い人 (教授、市長、他) に対する敬語として適当です。ただし see ではなく meet がベター。meet は初にお目にかかるという意味です。 It was such a pleasure to meet you. pleasure もフォーマルな感じですが、honor ほどではありません。相手の肩書き重く考えなくてよい相手に、しかし丁寧に使うのに適しています。meet は最初の出会いという意味なので、付き合いが始まると２度目からは meet ではなくなりますが、さりとて see ではおかしいので get to know, discover, be acquainted with, become friends などを適宜工夫して使います。 もっと親密な友人になった場合には have the good fortune to meet be a lucky person to have met というような言い方があるでしょう。meet は初めての出会いを強調することになるのですが、それでも通用するでしょう。 さて、恋人などなら「感激」という意味を込めたくなりますが、thril は適当ではないので例えば emotional を使うかなと思います。 I feel emotional about encountering you. emotional はグッと来る、といった感じです。encounter は偶然出会うという意味で、ずっとくだけた言い方として run into があります。 ちょっと工夫が要りますが、I am touched, I am impassioned なども使えるかも知れません。 後悔はない、というのは恋人に言うことはあるでしょう。"I have no regret to know you" "I have no regret to love you" "I have no regret to marry on the early age of my life " など。have found はちょっと意味不明の感じです。 いかがでしょうか。

英語で「あなたは人々の注目を集める方法を知っていますか？」と書きたいです。 １．Do you know find a way to gain the attention of people? ２．Do you know to find a way to gain the attention of people? knowもfindも動詞です。 動詞が２個繋がるのはおかしいと思ってfindをto findにしました。 そしたらGoogle翻訳はおかしい翻訳をするようになりました。 この場合は１が合っているのでしょうか？ なぜ動詞が２個続いていいのか教えてください。 よろしくお願いします。

ご丁寧なご回答をありがとうございます。 I have no regret to・・・このとときregretは複数でなくても大丈夫でしょうか？ ひとことだけのメッセージとして恋人に対するカードなどに使っても不自然ではない表現でしょうか。
