以前の御質問（http://okwave.jp/qa4539008.html）が締め切られてしまったので、こちらで質問者の前の補足説明にお答えします。 >I'm thrilled to know you. >【巡り会えて】感激していると伝えたいです 「巡り会う」というのはごく短時間の出来事を表す言葉ですよね？「ずーっと巡り会っている」ということは無いわけで、“巡り会い”というのは短時間で終る事件です。巡り会った瞬間に関して感動している場合には"be thrilled"が似合っていますが、"know"はもっと持続した時間経過の結果ですから、"I'm thrilled to know you."は一寸ちぐはぐです。 「出会い」に力点を置くのでしたら、やはり"meet"（出会う）でしょうね。ただ、質問者は「巡り会う」という劇的な表現にこだわっておられるわけですが、私ども部外者には「知り合う」というごく普通の状況しか思い浮かびません。「巡り会う」ですとまるでロミオとジュリエットが舞踏会で巡り会ったような大袈裟な表現に思えます。もし本当にそのような状況であれば、"encounter"（偶然の出会い）などのもっと芝居がかった運命的な出会いの表現を考えるしかありませんが、私には手に負えません。

英語で「あなたは人々の注目を集める方法を知っていますか？」と書きたいです。 １．Do you know find a way to gain the attention of people? ２．Do you know to find a way to gain the attention of people? knowもfindも動詞です。 動詞が２個繋がるのはおかしいと思ってfindをto findにしました。 そしたらGoogle翻訳はおかしい翻訳をするようになりました。 この場合は１が合っているのでしょうか？ なぜ動詞が２個続いていいのか教えてください。 よろしくお願いします。
