duosonic です。 後続の方へ。 ご質問者 minatomebaさんは文中で二回も「初心者なので自信がありません。」、「初心者なので基本的なことがよく分かっておりません」とされています。 すなわち、ご質問者は： 「Where is she living? は直接疑問文であるが、これを間接疑問文にすると Do you happen to know where she is living? で合っているか？」 、、、とお聞きになっているように僕には思えます。これで200%合っています。そうですよね？ あなたは英文法がご専門？のようですが、こういった初心者の方に対して「疑問副詞を定義？すると間接疑問文ではない？ 、、、」云々というのは、彼らを惑わすばかりではなく、難し過ぎて英語に対して興味を失うことだってあります。現に日本の中学・高校では、英語ネイティブも習わないような文法用語ばかりを詰め込まれ、混乱してやる気をなくしている生徒たちがいるんです。 なので、よく「ご質問者の意図」をご理解され、そのレベルに合わせて回答するようにされるように努力して頂きたい。誰もがあなた同様のレベルで英文法を理解できるとは限りませんので。 minatomebaさん、横槍失礼いたしました。
