こんばんは。 We were surprised at the news (that)he had achieved the task for himself. という文があって、カッコの中はthatだったのですが、 まえに目的格のthatというのがあってそういうときはthatしか使えないというものでした。 この文の時のthatは同格をあらわすthatでこのthatは接続詞。と書いてあるのですが、 普通の目的格のthatに見えるのですがなにが違うんでしょうか。 よかったら教えてください。 よろしくお願いします。

It was resolved that our school have an outing. （学校は遠足を行なうことを決定した。）という例文ですが、何故that節内ではwillが使われないのですか。ourschoolは単数なのでshouldが省略されているのだろうという予測はつきますが、僕が知っているshouldの用法”that節内で感情の原因を表すshould”、”提案、要求の内容を表すshould”のどちらにもあてはまりません。何故wllではなくshouldが使われていて、そして一体このshouldはどういう用法なのでしょうか。
