もし質問者さんがメールアドレスをいくつか持っているとしたら、「どのメールアドレスを使うのが一番いい？」といった意味で聞いているのかもしれません。 もしメルアドが一つしかないのでしたら、ちょっと意味不明ですね。ご本人に直接聞いてみた方がよいと思います。例文は、「I didn't quite understand your last question. Can you explain what you meant?」 ちなみに「Fw:」は「転送」という意味です。返信した場合は「Re:」になるので、なぜ返信ではなく転送をしたのかも謎ですね。

「英語」に関しては単なる一般人レベルですが、"Fw:"の意味は"Foward"、日本語でいう所謂「転送」メールの事です。 つまりこの文章が記載されたメールは元々質問者様宛ではなく、誰か他の方へ送信済みのメールを、質問者様にも転送している事になります。 ANo.1の回答者様の仰っている通り状況がわからないので何とも判断つきかねますが、もしかして本来質問者様に送るつもりではない内容のメールを間違って転送したのかも…？ ここは一つ、素直に「私はネイティブじゃないのでこのメールの意味がよくわかりませんでした。もう少し詳しく説明してもらえますか？」と確認するメールを送った方が宜しいのでは。連絡はいつでも歓迎、とのことですので、どんどん質問するに越したことはありません。

回答ありがとうございます。 Fw:とは転送という意味だったのですね。 初めて知りました。 次に返信するときに思い切って聞いてみたいと思います。

「このＥメール、もしくは同等の他のメールが、あなたの名前と一緒に使うのにベストなものなのかどうかを教えてください」 この文章だけでは何が目的で聞いているのかが良く分からないですね。メールの送信者との今までのやり取りや、前後の文章も載せてくれれば、もっと的確な意味が分かるかもしれません。

回答ありがとうございます。 やはりこれだけじゃ難しいようですね＾＾； まだメールをやり始めたばかりで特にこれといった話はしていません。 が、このメールのsubject にFw： とついていました。 Fw: の意味も知らなくて申し訳ありません。 この文の前後には文章は入っておりませんでした。 その代りに前のメールの終わりには、 「あなたが私たちと連絡を取ることはいつでも歓迎します。」 みたいな感じで書かれておりました。 参考になりませんでしたらすいません＞＜
