アメリカの銀行から手紙がきました。内容を教えてください。
アメリカの銀行にある口座を閉じようとメールを出したところ、次のような手紙が来ました。意味がわからない部分が多くあり、困っています。手紙全文ではありませんが、以下に抜き出してみます。教えてください。 ・We received your recent request regarding account closure. The Correspondence area is unable to transfer funds to another institution, please forward a signed request stating where to mail an official check. If the request is being sent to another instition include a contact name for mailing purposes. ・Your current account records show that you are claiming, as a non-resident alien, that interest you earn on your deposit accounts is exempt from domestic information reporting and backup withholding. Because your exemption claim is either incomplete, has expire or will expire at the end of this year, you need to complete and return the enclosed W-8BEN form as soon as possible. Without a completed form W-8BEN on file, any interest income paid your account is subject to backup withholding at a rate provided in Section 3406 of the Internal Revenue Code. 以上です。翻訳でも大意でもかまいませんのでよろしくお願いいたします。

大意です。 ・口座を閉じたいとのリクエスト受け取りました。お取引のある地域は、資金を別の機関に移すことができません。official checkをどこに送ればいいかを書いた、署名入りのリクエストを送って下さい。もし別の機関に送って欲しいというリクエストであれば、郵送先の名前も教えて下さい。 ・あなたの今の口座によれば、あなたは住民ではない外国人で、あなたの預金口座についた利子は、国内の報告やbackup withholding（利子にかかる税？）が除外になります。 あなたの除外申告は、不備があるか、有効期限が切れているか、または今年の終わりに期限が切れるかのいずれかでありますので、同封のW-8BENの書式を完成させて、できるだけ早く返信して下さい。もしW-8BENの書式が完成しなければ、あなたの利子は、Internal Revenue CodeのSection 3406 にあるようなレートで、backup withholdingの対象になってしまいます。

MacUpdateでソフトウェアを購入するのにユーザ登録をしたら自動的にDesktop memberになっていました。 英語がどうにもややこして7日間放置しておくと自動でフリーメンバーになるのか、 それともこのままのDesktop memberでいたければ7日間放置して請求を待てと書いているのか判りません。 http://www.macupdate.com/my-payments.php のページで 「Please note: If you just recently became a MacUpdate member and have not purchased a membership, your account will be marked as a Desktop account at $39.95.
